Fishing on the sea

Drake Bay claims more than 40 fishing records, fishing is excellent all year-round, although the catch may vary according to the season and tides. It is possible to find the following species:

Blue and Black Jack (Jurel azul y negro)
Spanish and Sierra Mackarel (Macarela Española y Sierra)
Rainbow runner (Macarela Arco Iris)
Pacific Barracuda (Barracuda)

Roosterfish (Pez Gallo)

• the region is famous for its big roosters which can be caught virtually any month of the year.

Big Eye and Yellowfin Tuna   (Atún ojo grande y aleta amarilla)

Dolphin Fish, Mahi Mahi (Dorado)

Wahoo 

• August to December.

• Febrary to April is the peak season

Blue, Black and Stripe Marlin  ( Marlin Azul, Negro y Rayado)
